Riley's Bar-B-Q opened for business in May 2003. The owner, Bob Riley, has been
involved in the food business for over 20 years, doing on-site catering to large
groups. Then in 2002, Bob decided to remodel & enlarge his building in Blanco
to accommodate a large seating area and serving line, plus the new state of the
art Southern Pride Bar-B-Q pit. The inside of the restaurant is decorated with
lots of old advertising sign and clocks. Old porcelain top tables are used in
the original dining area, once a showroom for Model T's in the 1930's. In the
new dining area picnic tables sit on the original concrete floor where gas tanks
once sat! Large plexiglass windows allow for outdoor viewing and just "watching
the traffic go by". Open Thursday thru Sunday you can enjoy the best brisket,
pork ribs, sausage, hot links, pork loin, turkey breast, chicken & chopped beef
in the Hill Country. Sides include homemade potato salad, cole slaw, pinto beans
(from Grandma's receipe), pickles, marinated onions, chips & bread. Try a delicious
bowl of hot blackberry or peach cobbler with a scoop of delicious vanilla ice
cream. Quench your thirst with sweet or unsweet iced tea, a soda or an ice cold
beer. For those who must have sauce on their Bar-B-Q, Riley's has their own sauces
made to our specifications. For a bit of zing try our original with just a bit
of cayenne pepper. On the milder side our Texas Sweet has just the right amount
of molasses for a sweet taste. Coming soon: Dry rubs for beef, chicken & fish
plus a new hot wing sauce. Our Bar-B-Q sauces can be ordered and shipped anywhere
in the U.S. Just go to the order bar and place your order. We accept cashiers
checks & credit cards. No cash in the mail please! At Riley's Bar-B-Q we strive
