About Us Riley's Bar-B-Q - Blanco Location
Our brisket, pork ribs, pork loin, turkey breast, regular sausage, jalapeno sausage and chicken are prepared using our blend of rubs. The brisket is slow cooked for 16 hours before serving. We use only the very best meats. Our chopped is a combination of brisket, pork loin, turkey and sausage. NO FAT HERE! Just wonderful meat. Our sides include pinto beans, potato salad, cole slaw, cream corn, deviled eggs, french fries and fried okra. Many of our recipes are from long time family recipes and friends. Our marinated onions are wonderful! The pinto beans are cooked just like Bob's grandmother. The potato salad and deviled eggs are from Bonnie's family. Our manager, Kathy, brought the cream corn recipe to us. Our desserts include peach and blackberry cobbler, with or without Blue Bell ice cream or our fabulous Banana Pudding, a recipe from our friend Dixie.
We added delicious fried chicken, chicken tenders, french fries, fried okra and biscuits to our menu in February 2007 after many customers asking about it. We also do catering for all occasions. To go orders are always welcome and can be called in to pickup for easy convenience. Our hours are Monday - Saturday 11 AM - 8 PM and Sunday 11 AM - 6 PM. We accept MC, Visa, Discover & American Express Rockin' R Steakhouse - Blanco Location After many months of planning & renovation, Rockin' R Steakhouse opened on June 30, 2005 to a large crowd. We created a menu to bring our diners the finest steaks, seafood, poultry, pork & desserts at a reasonable price. Our entrees are all grilled on an open flame grill while you watch. Everything is freshly made in our kitchen, from the salad dressings and bread to the wonderful desserts. We also have a nice wine & beer selection to compliment our entrees. Dinner is served Thursday 5 PM - 9 PM; Friday & Saturday 5 PM- 10 PM; Sunday 11 AM - 8 PM. In June 2006 we opened for lunch with a menu consisting of burgers, hot & cold sandwiches, pasta, soups, salads & a daily lunch special. Everything is made fresh in our kitchen. Lunch hours are Tuesday – Saturday 11 AM – 3 PM. We have special menus on Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mothers Day & New Year’s Eve. Riley's
Bar-B-Q in Blanco opened for business full time in May 2003. The owner,
Bob Riley, has been in the food business for over 20 years, doing on-site
catering to large groups. Then in 2002, Bob decided to remodel &
enlarge his building in Blanco to accommodate a larger seating capacity
and serving line, plus a new state of the art Southern Pride Bar-B-Q
pit.
The
inside of the restaurant is decorated with old advertising signs and
clocks. The original dining area was once a showroom for Model A's in the 1930's. In the new dining area
picnic tables sit on the original concrete floor where gas tanks once
sat! Large plexi-glass windows allow for outdoor viewing.
